Hello,
I am from Meru town eagerly looking for a job. I have over 5 years work experience in the microfinance/fintech industry both as a branch manager and loans officer serving in various towns within the Mt. kenya region. I am self-driven, enthusiastic, passionate about what I do and most of all can work under minimal supervision. I have always had an upward track record; posting better results than previous months, and I can well balance between my KPIs i.e maintain a steady loan growth while managing arrears and NPLs. I have a fantastic customer relation attitude that helps me maintain clients at a retention rate of above 94%.
Above all, my staff retention rate, for when I have been branch manager, has always been 100% since I strongly believe in problem solving and team work.

Roles undertaken include but are not limited to; ▪ Making sure that the relationship officer meets with clients interested in taking out a loan and that they provide them with the necessary information to start the loan application process. ▪ Responsible for confirming all collected financial documentation by the relationship officer, on the clients' creditworthiness. ▪ Responsible for confirming and counterchecking the risk ratios of clients based on their credit score and financial history as provided by the relationship officer. ▪ Responsible for ensuring efficient and prompt recovery of all loans disbursed by the relationship officer together with interest accrued. ▪ Responsible for negotiating payment arrangements and sometimes restructuring delinquent loans. ▪ Responsible for maintaing clear customer records within the branch level, recording times and dates that contact has been contacted and promised to pay, and noting information that relationship officers have received from the customer about the organization’s products and what we should improve. ▪ Supplying the HQ with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. ▪ Responsible for handling customer complaints that are beyond the relationship officer and take appropriate action to resolve them e.g. Fraud related cases, insults or threats by either party. ▪ Prepare monthly financial statements, reports and records and forwarding to the HQ. ▪ Maintain and reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis. ▪ Handle issues within the branch level between my officers that may otherwise kill the spirit of teamwork. ▪ Responsible for approving all offs in consultation with the human resource in an effective manner that does not compromise the branch operations in any way. ▪ Assigning duties to my relationship officers as may arise, e.g. cleaning the office, washing utensils, etc. ▪ Suspending arrogant customers from accessing our products.
