Previously, I worked as an Accounting Intern with the Bungoma County Government, where I handled roles such as assisting with the preparation, financial statements, timely issue of invoices and allocation of payments, Assisted in posting and processing of journal entries on time to ensure transactions of the company are up to date,Assisted in Filing of tax returns,Ensured safe custody of financial records and preparing of Bank deposits.

Some of the skills and abilities I have amassed include; financial statement, financial reporting, tax reporting, reconciliation, Ms word, Excel, Powerpoint,Verification, Quick books, i tax, account receivables and account payables,Invoicing, receipts, attention to detail,team work, multitasking providing me a firm foundation for this role. Accustomed to success and getting things done, I enjoy challenges and have a strong work ethic which enables me to achieve my objectives on time.
