- We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Livestream Technical Operator to manage the technical execution of live broadcast events. The ideal candidate will have experience with video and audio equipment, livestreaming platforms (especially OBS), and be adept at troubleshooting issues in high-pressure, live environments. This role is essential to ensuring smooth, professional, and high-quality online experiences for our viewers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Equipment Setup & Configuration
o Set up, configure, and test all audio, video, lighting, and networking equipment required for livestreams, including cameras, microphones, mixers, encoders, and computers.
o Conduct thorough signal flow and functionality tests to ensure optimal performance before going live.
• Event Execution
o Operate video switchers, laptops, audio mixers, and graphics systems during live broadcasts.
o Assist in setting up and calibrating virtual backgrounds, lower thirds, and graphic overlays.
o Monitor video and audio quality in real time and make prompt adjustments to maintain broadcast standards.
• Content & Visual Management
o Manage transitions, overlays, pre-recorded segments, and branding elements during live sessions.
o Coordinate and display lower thirds, titles, and on-screen graphics in sync with programming.
• Engagement & Support
o Monitor live platform features such as chat, Q&A tools, and audience interaction modules to support real-time engagement.
o Collaborate with the Media Director/Management team to understand technical needs and provide expert advice on best practices.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance
o Quickly identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues that may arise during live streams.
o Ensure all livestreamed content is properly recorded and archived for post-event use.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Proven experience in livestream production or broadcast operations.
• Strong working knowledge of OBS Studio and other streaming platforms.
• Proficiency with audio mixers, signal routing, and audio connections.
• Ability to set up and manage cameras, microphones, lighting systems, and live switching gear.
• Familiarity with graphic overlay tools and basic design adjustments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask under pressure.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings based on event schedules.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):
• Experience with hybrid (in-person + online) event production.
• Familiarity with livestreaming to platforms like YouTube, Facebook Live, Zoom, or Vimeo.
• Basic video editing and graphic design skills are a plus.
