Social Media Specialist – Remote (Full-Time, B2B E-Commerce)
Location: Kenya or Pakistan
Language: English only – all applications must be submitted in English
Time Zone Requirement: Minimum 4-hour overlap with Ecommerce Marketing Manager (6 AM – 2:30 PM EST)
Exclusivity: You must be fully dedicated to Best Access Doors during working hours. No multi-client work is permitted during this time.

About the Role

Best Access Doors is a leading North American e-commerce brand serving commercial construction professionals. We’re hiring a strategic and experienced Social Media Specialist to own our social presence, build our brand voice across platforms, and help convert content into leads, quote requests, and long-term B2B relationships.

You’ll collaborate with our Email Marketing and Content Strategy Specialists, but as a true subject-matter expert, you’re expected to bring strategy and execution skills—not wait for instructions. We have well-defined internal processes for remote collaboration, and you’ll be expected to learn and follow them while delivering high-quality, self-directed work.

What You’ll Do

– Own the social media strategy and calendar for all active platforms (currently Instagram and Facebook; may expand)
– Write results-driven posts and CTAs designed to drive traffic to quote forms, lead pages, or targeted content
– Take full ownership of influencer marketing strategy and execution—vet, manage, and track relevant partnerships
– Reuse and adapt internal assets (e.g., blog articles, campaign images) to fuel social media content; may require preparing simple briefs for the design team
– Monitor and respond to engagement professionally and promptly; escalate lead opportunities where needed
– Collaborate closely with content and email teams to align messaging, timing, and campaign execution
– Track analytics (engagement, traffic, UTM performance, lead generation), report findings, and adapt strategies; Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and making data-driven decisions
– Operate within our OKR framework to ensure content supports measurable business goals and campaign performance
– Excellent attention to detail and strict adherence to brand guidelines
– Strong work ethic, commitment to set hours, and ability to work in a virtual team environment
– Exceptional work samples and references demonstrating a track record of success
– Up to date with current B2B social media techniques including AI trends and able to proactively adapt strategies to leverage new tools
– Process-oriented, with the ability to follow established workflows and procedures

Key Success Metrics You’ll Influence:

– Generate 100–150 B2B leads through social media and digital campaigns
– Contribute to 300+ qualified leads through omni-channel collaboration (email, influencer, content, etc.)
– Deliver a minimum of 50 meaningful monthly interactions with targeted B2B decision-makers
– Improve content efficiency and lead-to-quote conversions using data-driven insights

What We’re Looking For:

– 3+ years of experience managing social content for a B2B e-commerce or industrial brand
– Deep understanding of B2B audience behavior, especially in construction or similarly niche markets
– Exceptional written English, with strong CTA and value proposition copywriting skills
– Proven ability to generate real business results from social—beyond vanity metrics
– Expert in using tools like Later (or comfortable transitioning to Zoho Social)
– Experience leading influencer campaigns, including sourcing, vetting, and managing deliverables
– Confident using UTM links, social analytics, and platform insights to track performance
– Highly self-motivated and outcome-oriented; you thrive in a structured remote environment and know how to follow process
– Must be able to work as a full-time independent contractor (exclusive to Best Access Doors during contract hours)

Work Culture & Expectations:

– You’ll work full-time as a dedicated contractor, exclusively for Best Access Doors
– Standard hours follow Toronto (EST) time with a 4-hour minimum overlap daily
– We provide access to necessary tools and platforms, but we expect independent initiative
– You’ll follow structured internal workflows, meet deadlines, and collaborate actively with the marketing team
– Our remote team is supportive and high-performing. We value accountability, strategy, and clear communication

Our Hiring Process

This is a full-time, dedicated role with set working hours. You must be readily available during your shift and committed to working solely with our company. We use Time Doctor to track work hours for our international team. We offer comprehensive in-house training to help you succeed.

– Initial Interview with HR
– Skills Testing (campaign strategy, content writing, and platform knowledge)
– Final Interview with the Ecommerce Marketing Manager and HR
– Behavioral Testing (conducted by HR)
– Reference Check – You must provide three work/professional references we can contact
– Offer – If successful, you’ll receive a contract and compensation based on salary benchmarking for your region
