Are you a qualified finance professional ready to lead the financial governance and compliance function of a fast-scaling fintech lender? We’re looking for a Finance Lead – Accounts, Compliance & Audit to join our executive team and uphold integrity, transparency, and regulatory excellence across our operations.

About the Role

As the Finance Lead, you’ll be the principal custodian of our financial controls, compliance, and audit frameworks. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll oversee financial reporting, statutory compliance, risk management, and internal/external audits ensuring adherence to IFRS and regulatory standards across multiple markets.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic, high-growth environments and brings a balance of technical precision, strategic thinking, and team mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial accounting, reporting, and ERP systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead all statutory reporting and ensure full compliance with tax, AML/CFT, and labor regulations.
• Design and improve internal control systems, conduct risk assessments, and address audit findings.
• Prepare and manage internal and external audits, serving as the company’s audit liaison.
• Develop finance and compliance policies aligned with IFRS and best practice.
• Mentor and lead the finance team with clear KPIs and continuous development.
• Advise the CEO with strategic financial insights and ensure sound financial governance.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• CPA-K or ACCA certification (Mandatory)
• 5+ years in accounting, audit, and compliance roles—preferably in fintech, microfinance, or financial services
• Strong command of IFRS, tax compliance, internal controls, and audit processes
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in accounting systems
• Proven leadership ability and experience managing finance teams
