Job Description

Qualifications
Education: Certificate or Diploma in Culinary or related course.
Experience: Atleast 2 years a s a Cook in a busy restaurant set up.
Skills: Knowledge of cooking techniques, weights and measures, and how to use kitchen equipment like slicers, mixers, and food processors .
Attention to detail: The ability to accurately follow recipes and measure ingredients
Customer service: A commitment to providing top service to restaurant guests
Teamwork: The ability to work well with other kitchen staff
Stamina: The ability to handle work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
Sanitation: A good working knowledge of sanitation standards and health codes

Duties
Can cook all fast foods.e.g Samosa, sausages, Mandazi, Chapati, Chips etc.
Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils
Execute opening and closing procedures
Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment
Check the quality and freshness of ingredients
Monitor station inventory levels
Operate kitchen equipment such as, grills and fryers
