Role Overview
The Logistics Manager will oversee all aspects of supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring efficient warehousing, inventory control, order fulfilment, and delivery for both online and in-store channels. You will play a critical role in optimising processes, improving cost efficiency, and ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, implement, and manage logistics operations including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory management, and last-mile delivery.

Monitor and improve warehouse operations and layout to ensure efficiency, safety, and organisation.

Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, couriers, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.

Implement inventory control systems to minimise losses and ensure stock availability.

Coordinate with sales, customer service, and procurement teams to align logistics with business needs.

Monitor key metrics such as delivery timelines, logistics costs, stock accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain performance and reduce operating costs.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards across the supply chain.

Leverage technology and ERP systems to streamline logistics and fulfilment processes.

Manage a small team and lead with a focus on performance, training, and continuous improvement.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of logistics or supply chain experience, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or FMCG.

Strong knowledge of inventory systems, warehouse processes, and last-mile delivery strategies.

Experience working with ERP, warehouse management, and order fulfilment platforms.

Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and analytical skills.

Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.

A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of logistics regulations and best practices in South Africa.

Valid driver’s license and own transport is advantageous.
