Key Responsibilities:
– Plan, prepare, and serve meals for a large population of 500 to 1000 students, catering to various dietary needs and preferences.
– Collaborate with the culinary team to create balanced, appealing menus in line with nutritional guidelines.
– Manage food inventory, ensuring a consistent supply of fresh, high-quality ingredients.
– Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen that adheres to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
– Preferably with experience in a boarding school or similar environment.
– Proven experience in catering for large groups (500-1000) with a minimum of 3 to 4 years in a similar role.
– Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or a related field.
– Strong organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team.
