Branch Team Leader – Kiambu Town

Overview
Kazicloud is recruiting on behalf of a reputable client in the lending and microfinance sector for a highly capable Branch Team Leader to oversee branch operations in Kiambu Town. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience, proven expertise in SME lending, and a solid understanding of the microfinance environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day branch operations and ensure smooth service delivery.
• Drive growth of the SME lending portfolio through active business development.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for branch staff.
• Ensure adherence to lending policies, credit procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain strong client relationships and promote excellent customer service.
• Monitor portfolio quality, branch performance, and risk management practices.
• Generate accurate and timely operational and performance reports.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a branch leadership role within a microfinance institution.
• In-depth knowledge of SME lending, credit assessment, and portfolio management.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve branch targets and lead a high-performing team.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Kiambu Town and surrounding areas is an added advantage.
