Position: Call Centre Agents

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Job Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Financial Services Sector for the position of Call Centre Agent. This is an excellent opportunity for proactive, results-driven professionals who are passionate about customer service and sales. The role combines new customer acquisition with customer relationship management to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
As a Call Centre Agent, you will engage both potential and existing customers, provide product information, and ensure a smooth loan application experience. Your goal will be to meet sales and retention targets while maintaining the highest standards of customer care.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to potential customers from provided leads.
• Present and clearly explain loan products and their terms.
• Convert prospects into active borrowers and guide them through the onboarding process.
• Maintain and update a daily sales pipeline report.
• Gather and share market insights and customer feedback with the product team.
• Follow up with existing borrowers to ensure timely repayments.
• Promote repeat borrowing and upsell products where applicable.
• Address customer queries or escalate them to relevant departments.
• Conduct periodic satisfaction checks and record customer feedback.
• Monitor customer engagement and flag potential churn risks.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office; CRM systems are an added advantage).
• Prior experience in sales or customer service is an added advantage.
