College Principal: Job Vacancy

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Are you a dynamic and experienced education leader with a passion for empowering students through artisan courses? An upcoming college in Nairobi is seeking a visionary College Principal to spearhead its growth and establish it as a centre of excellence in artisan education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all academic and administrative functions of the college.
• Oversee the development and implementation of artisan courses at certificate and diploma levels.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including industry partners and regulatory bodies.
• Recruit, mentor, and supervise faculty and staff to deliver high-quality education.
• Ensure compliance with educational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Promote a student-centred learning environment that supports academic excellence and practical skills development.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in curriculum and college operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Education, Technical Education, or a related field (a Master’s degree is an added advantage).
• Proven experience in academic leadership, with at least 5 years of experience managing artisan courses at both certificate and diploma levels.
• Strong understanding of TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) systems and their role in skills development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• A track record of fostering partnerships and collaborations with industry stakeholders.
• Passion for technical and vocational education and a commitment to student success.
