Job Description

Our client, a reputable insurance brokerage firm, is seeking an Insurance Officer to support underwriting, claims, and client service operations.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented insurance professional with hands-on experience in general insurance, strong client management skills, and a passion for service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage underwriting and claims across personal and general insurance lines.
• Review and verify policy documents, risk notes, and endorsements for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare debit/credit notes, tender documents, and monthly production reports.
• Support new business acquisition, renewals, and client retention.
• Oversee claims registration, documentation, and settlement to ensure timely resolution.
• Handle customer feedback and drive continuous service improvements.
• Coordinate with insurers for policy issuance, binder declarations, and claims updates.
• Maintain accurate filing and reporting systems in line with company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Insurance (Modules I & II complete; Module III ongoing).
• COP in Insurance – College of Insurance.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an insurance brokerage firm.
• Strong background in underwriting, claims, and client servicing.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in insurance documentation systems and MS Office Suite.
