Location: Nairobi–Machakos Border (Joska)
Employment Type: Full-time

Our client, an established private institution founded in 2013, is seeking a visionary Head of School to lead and inspire their teaching and administrative teams. The school is nationally recognized as a CBC hub and a benchmark for curriculum interpretation and implementation, with strong emphasis on holistic education, balancing academics, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and overall management of the school.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching in line with CBC standards and global best practices.
• Oversee curriculum planning, implementation, and assessment across all levels.
• Lead and mentor teaching and non-teaching staff to foster professional growth.
• Maintain high academic performance while promoting co-curricular and extra-curricular excellence.
• Strengthen the school’s STEM, arts, and sports programs.
• Champion inclusive education and support the integration of children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
• Build strong relationships with parents, the community, and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) from a recognized institution; a Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 7 years’ teaching experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience with the CBC curriculum.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire staff and students toward excellence in academics and beyond.
• Passion for holistic education, including co-curricular and extra-curricular programs.
