Job Opportunity: Insurance Agent

Location: Mombasa, Kenya
Employment Type: Full-time / Commission-based

Our client, a well-established insurance brokerage firm, is seeking a highly motivated Insurance Agent to join their Mombasa branch. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, in-depth knowledge of insurance products, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
• Market and sell a wide range of insurance products, including life, health, motor, property, and commercial covers.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
• Advise clients on the best insurance products to meet their needs.
• Prepare and deliver insurance proposals and quotations.
• Ensure timely policy issuance, renewals, and after-sales service.
• Maintain accurate client and sales records.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Professional certification in insurance (COP or AIIK) is an added advantage.
• Proven sales experience in insurance, preferably in brokerage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Mombasa.
