Security & Investigations Officer – Microfinance Institution (Nairobi)

Kazicloud Employ Limited is recruiting a Security and Investigations Officer on behalf of a reputable microfinance institution.

This role requires a disciplined, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in law enforcement, investigations, and banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal and external investigations related to fraud, theft, and policy breaches
• Prepare clear, factual, and professional investigation reports and case files
• Support risk management and loss prevention initiatives across the institution
• Liaise with management, legal teams, and relevant authorities where required
• Attend court hearings and provide testimony or supporting documentation when necessary
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, banking regulations, and security procedures

Requirements

1. Must have previously served in the police force
2. Diploma or Degree in Security Management / Investigations or a related field
3. Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Security or Investigations Officer within a microfinance institution or bank
4. Strong understanding of banking and microfinance operations
5. Proven experience in investigation reporting, documentation, and case handling
6. High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
