Job Opportunity: Insurance Intern – Sales

Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Duration: 3–6 months (with possibility of extension)
Start Date: 25th August 2025
Compensation: Paid Internship

Our client, a reputable microfinance company, is seeking an Insurance Intern – Sales to join their Nairobi team. This internship offers hands-on experience in insurance sales, client relationship management, and financial services—perfect for a motivated, goal-driven individual eager to build a career in insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in promoting and selling insurance products to new and existing clients.
• Engage prospective customers through calls, meetings, and presentations.
• Support in preparing and delivering insurance quotations and proposals.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and follow-ups.
• Help organize client outreach events and promotional activities.
• Work closely with the sales team to meet monthly targets.
• Provide after-sales support and customer service as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (completed or ongoing) in Insurance, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional insurance certification (AIIK/Certificate of Proficiency) will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
