Loan Officer

Location: Nyahururu Town

Our client, a growing microfinance institution, is looking for a Loan Officer to support business clients with responsible, well-structured lending solutions. Kazicloud is recruiting for this role on behalf of the client.
This role is ideal for someone who understands business loans in a microfinance setting—from client assessment to disbursement and follow-up—and is ready to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, process, and manage business loan applications
• Conduct client evaluations and basic credit risk assessments
• Build strong relationships with SMEs and micro-entrepreneurs
• Monitor loan performance and support repayment follow-ups
• Maintain accurate loan records and reports in line with internal policies

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience handling business loans, preferably in a microfinance.
• Good understanding of credit appraisal and lending procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Based in or willing to work in Nyahururu Town
• Available to start immediately
