Job Title: Financial Controller

Job Summary
The Financial Controller will manage the company’s day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role ensures the integrity of financial records, supports strategic decision-making, and leads efforts in budgeting, audits, and tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, and payroll.
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports in line with IFRS/GAAP.
Develop internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
Coordinate audits (internal and external) and liaise with auditors.
Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory requirements, and regulatory filings.
Supervise and develop a team of accountants and finance staff.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s/MBA is an advantage).
CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification required.
Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
