This role will define and drive the company’s technology vision, ensuring IT systems, infrastructure, and digital solutions align with business goals, enable growth, and enhance customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Operations
– Define and implement the company’s technology vision in alignment with business goals.
– Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT systems and services.
– Oversee the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
– Ensure system availability, data integrity, and performance across all technology platforms.
Systems Management & Support
– Manage the maintenance, upgrade, and security of servers, networks, software, and hardware.
– Oversee the availability and performance of internet and intranet systems.
– Implement proactive monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery protocols.
– Establish and maintain IT standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guides.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection
– Ensure robust data security policies are in place and adhered to across all platforms.
– Manage user access, data encryption, and compliance with relevant security standards.
– Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation initiatives.
Customer & User Support
– Ensure IT systems support high-quality customer experiences and internal operations.
– Identify and address technology gaps that affect service delivery or customer satisfaction.
– Engage with internal teams to understand needs and develop user-friendly tech solutions.
Vendor & Asset Management
– Source and manage third-party IT vendors and service providers.
– Track and maintain an accurate inventory of all IT equipment and software licenses.
– Ensure timely procurement, servicing, and disposal of IT assets in line with policy.
Budget & Reporting
– Develop and manage the IT department budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value.
– Forecast future IT needs and propose strategic investments.
– Prepare and submit regular reports on IT performance, issues, and improvements.
Team Leadership
– Lead and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
– Provide mentorship and technical guidance to IT staff and support career development.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
– Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
– Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and IT governance.
– Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, service delivery, and strategic projects.
– Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach.
