The Opportunity

Our client is a growing Kenyan fashion brand known for quality, identity and a genuine commitment to customer experience. They are looking for a Sales Associate who understands that selling is about people first and who takes pride in the service they deliver as much as the number they hit.

What You Will Do
Customer Engagement & Selling
– Welcome and engage customers warmly – understand what they need before recommending anything.
– Guide customers through the product range with genuine product knowledge and styling confidence.
– Upsell and cross-sell naturally – by adding value, not applying pressure.
– Convert walk-ins and enquiries into purchases through quality conversation and service.

Customer Experience
– Deliver a consistent, high-quality in-store experience on every interaction – not just when it is easy.
– Handle customer queries, concerns and complaints professionally and escalate when needed.
– Represent the brand’s standards in everything you do on the floor.

Sales Execution & Standards
– Work towards individual daily and monthly sales targets.
– Maintain visual merchandising and floor presentation standards throughout your shift.
– Accurately process transactions and manage the checkout experience.
– Participate in stock management – receiving, counting and replenishment as required.

– Customers leave feeling seen, styled and satisfied.
– Your conversion rate and average basket size trend upward over time.
– You know the product range and can speak to it confidently without being prompted.
– You uphold floor and service standards without being reminded.
– You are on time, consistent and a steady presence your team can rely on.

Who We Are Looking For
Experience
1. At least 1 year of experience in a retail sales or customer-facing role.
2. Experience in fashion, lifestyle or premium consumer goods is an advantage.
3. Familiarity with POS systems and basic stock handling is a plus.
