Job Description

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement the strategic direction for the Unit.

· Lead and mentor a team of lawyers and paralegals, delegating tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring efficient workflow.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.

· Oversee and manage complex family law matters, including establishment of family Trusts, engaging in structuring of family owned businesses, undertaking probate, devising appropriate estate planning, handling child custody matters, and matrimonial property division cases.

· Undertaking registration of charitable institutions be it Charitable Trusts, Foundations, Public Benefit Organizations etc, including international PBOs and branches of foreign charitable institutions.

· To attend to and advise on the compliance of charitable institutions as well as attendant issues including employment, immigration, tax and corporate governance issues.

· Represent clients in family law litigation, including court hearings and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.

· Provide comprehensive legal advice on a wide range of family law issues, such as divorce, child custody, maintenance, and property division.

· Provide comprehensive tax advise on wealth management structures and advice charities on tax implications.

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand the firm’s client base, and generate revenue.
