Job Description

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Preferred Residence: Kiambu Road or Thika Road

Monthly Salary: KES 40,000

Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and reliable Personal Driver & Compound Manager to provide professional driving services while overseeing the general upkeep and security of the residential compound. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience driving in Nairobi, be comfortable operating in early morning hours, and possess a clean criminal record.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving Duties:

• Safely transport the employer and family members to various destinations.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and safety while driving.
• Plan routes efficiently, considering traffic and time constraints.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, serviced, and in good working condition at all times.
• Monitor fuel consumption and maintain accurate records of mileage and expenses.
• Assist with running errands such as shopping, banking, and parcel deliveries.

Compound Management Duties:

• Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the compound, including gardens, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Supervise security personnel (if applicable) and ensure all security measures are strictly followed.
• Coordinate with service providers for repairs, gardening, waste disposal, and any necessary maintenance work.
• Report any maintenance issues and liaise with relevant technicians for prompt resolution.
• Ensure all utility bills and service payments are tracked and updated as required.

Key Requirements:

• A valid Kenyan driving license with a clean record.
• At least 5 years of driving experience in Nairobi, with excellent knowledge of routes and traffic patterns.
• Must be comfortable working in early morning hours and available for flexible schedules.
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
• Experience in compound management, security coordination, or general upkeep is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
• Must be a resident of Kiambu Road or Thika Road for ease of access and time management.
