Job Description
Mwananchi Credit Limited seeks a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager – Direct Sales Agents Division to lead and oversee a team of direct sales agents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by setting targets, managing agent performance, recruiting and training new talent, and ensuring effective customer outreach. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in direct sales and a passion for developing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
• Recruit, hire, and onboard new direct sales agents.
• Establish individual and team sales goals and quotas.
• Coach, mentor, and develop sales agents through regular feedback and performance reviews.
• Motivate and inspire the sales team to consistently exceed targets.
• Effectively manage team dynamics and resolve conflicts within the sales force.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Monitor sales performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about competitor activities and market trends.
Customer Relationship Management:
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers.
• Address customer concerns and resolve complaints efficiently.
• Proactively identify potential new customer leads and generate sales opportunities.
Training and Development:
• Design and deliver comprehensive sales training programs covering product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales agents regarding customer interactions and lead generation.
Reporting and Analysis:
• Track key sales metrics and generate regular reports on sales performance.
• Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Communicate sales performance updates to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in direct sales leadership, preferably with a successful track record of managing a team of sales agents.
• Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, including motivation, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales automation tools.
