Vallez International is a U.S.-based international consulting and project management firm establishing offices in East Africa, now seeking resumes from bi-lingual (English – Swahili) project managers to assist with the construction of future projects in East Africa.

Responsibilities:

• Led the planning and implementation of the project.
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Define project tasks and resource requirements.
• Develop full-scale project plans.
• Assemble and coordinate project staff.
• Manage project budget.
• Manage project resource allocation.
• Plan and schedule project timelines.
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Provide direction and support to the project team.
• Quality assurance.
• Constantly monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders.
• Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions.
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
• Project evaluations and assessment of results.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• 3+ years of project management experience with Federal/DOD/Government projects.
• Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
• Proficient in project management software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire team members.
• Ability to make important decisions under pressure.
• Problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• Must be a US citizen and be able to maintain a security clearance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
• Demonstrate willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
